Founded in 1972, SIAD sal began its journey in Lebanon’s agrochemical industry. Located 50 km north of Beirut in Hosrayel, the factory spans 17,000 square meters, with 5,000 square meters of built area. As part of the Unifert Group, SIAD quickly established itself in Europe and the MENA region through its three divisions: agrochemical formulation and re-packing, public health and fumigation products (in collaboration with Bayer and Detia Degesch), and pest control operations.

In 1999, SIAD integrated its quality, health, safety, and environment management systems, achieving ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018 certifications. Embracing sustainability, the company reduced its fossil energy consumption by incorporating green energy into its production processes.

SIAD also formed agreements with major European producers for the formulation and repacking of branded products under license, becoming a trusted toll manufacturer for multinational companies. Acknowledging the hazardous effects of chemical pesticides, SIAD shifted focus towards bio-pesticides and botanical products, exploring biotechnology for organic agriculture and public health.
